The shisha quality was excellent, and they even offer natural wood for the fire, which added a unique touch to the experience.
The lounge is also known for its friendly and accommodating staff. They were attentive and ensured that our shisha experience was top-notch, frequently checking in to replace coals and ensure that everything was to our liking.
Moreover, the location of Shisha Lounge Angelo adds to its charm. De Pijp is known for its lively atmosphere, and being in this area allows you to explore one of Amsterdam’s most dynamic neighborhoods. The lounge itself, with its welcoming ambiance, is a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the city.
Whether you’re looking to enjoy a waterpipe with friends or just relax in a cozy setting, Shisha Lounge Angelo in Amsterdam is certainly a place worth visiting.

The drinks at King’s Cross can be on the expensive side. Despite this, the bar seems to be a popular choice for its convenient location near the Red Light District, offering an authentic Amsterdam bar experience.
Overall, King’s Cross Cafe & Bar seems like a great choice if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere with the option to enjoy both drinks and smoking in a comfortable setting.

Given the overall setting and the services offered, Sowieso Restaurant & Lounge is a good destination for those looking to enjoy a relaxed evening with good food and shisha in Amsterdam.

My experience at Lost in Amsterdam Lounge & Cafe was a mix of relaxation, enjoyment, and a few drawbacks.
The lounge offers a laid-back and chill environment, perfect for unwinding. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience. The place has a cool setting and the unique vibe it provides, especially with live music and DJ sessions, making it a great spot to relax with friends.
In terms of offerings, Lost in Amsterdam serves a variety of drinks, including amazing cocktails and alcoholic milkshakes. The fact that you can smoke and drink simultaneously adds to its appeal, particularly for those looking to enjoy the Amsterdam experience fully.
However, there are some downsides. The prices are on the higher side. The drinks are good but do not justify the cost. During my visit, the service was not quick, possibly due to busy periods or staffing issues.
Lost in Amsterdam Lounge & Cafe is a great place to experience the vibrant Amsterdam nightlife, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a smoke-friendly environment with good music and drinks. Just be prepared for potentially high prices and a busy atmosphere, especially during peak times.

10. Meram Cafe
Meram Cafe in Amsterdam is known for its Turkish cuisine and shisha services. The cafe boasts a cozy atmosphere with an oriental touch, making it an inviting place to relax and enjoy a shisha session.
The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant experience.
I tried their shisha, which is noted for using natural charcoals. The quality of the shisha was impressive – it had a smooth draw and the flavors were rich and well-balanced.
Its clear why they’ve been a notable name in the Turkish dining and shisha scene in Amsterdam for over 20 years.
Apart from the shisha, the food at Meram Cafe added to the overall experience. I tried a few Turkish specialties which were delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the fast service meant that there was little waiting time, either for the food or the shisha setup.
I spoke to other visitors in the cafe and they said the food can be a lot better at times. This told me that the food quality here might be inconsistent.
For those interested in visiting Meram Cafe for a shisha session or to try Turkish cuisine. They are open most days from the afternoon till late at night, making it a convenient spot for both early evening and late-night outings.
